秘密結社とよばれる人々
私は友人の彼氏でフリーメーソンに所属しているアメリカ人の方がいまして、その方のお誘いで、フリーメーソンのパーティーに参加したことがあります。
日本ではミステリアスな存在で知られていて、陰謀などつぶやかれていますね。確か彼らは秘密の組織グループで成り立っていることは確かです。私の質問にも答えることはほとんどありませんし、日常の生活はごく普通に送っていますが、１週間に１度集まって、ミーティングをしたり、ロッジ（彼らの教会的存在）の場所で集まっているそうです。とくに詳しい内容は知りませんですが、全然一般の人が多く、また軍人（ミリタリー）の人が属しているのも多いです。
米軍基地内にもフリーメーソンのロッジがあるそうです。米軍基地内は基本、撮影が禁じられています。日本でもハローバイバイさんの番組で結構ミステリアスな情報を取り上げて放送していますね。私は特に興味はありませんが、友人のエスコートでパーティーへ参加。特に何もミステリアスな体験や、変な集会などはナシにパーティーをエンジョイ！お酒を飲んで、踊って騒いで。といった感じです。『冗談で私もフリーメーソンになれる？』と聞くと、女性は会員になれないそうです。
奥さん方もごく普通の本当に一般の方で、何かスペシャル的なものもありませんでした。
沖縄にも米軍基地が多いことからか、フリーメーソンのロッジがあります。
特に人の出入りは無かったので、『私が実際にここ使ってるの？』と聞くと、ちゃんと使っていると答えていました。私が沖縄に住んでいるときに、観光客が写真を撮って喜んでいる場所のイメージです。
アメリカに住んでからは色んな場所でこのロッジを見かけることが多くなりました。１つの建物として、いろいろな場所で見かけます。普通に散歩してて、『あ！ロッジ！』みたいな感じでよく見かけますね。
不気味な集団とか、秘密だらけなどいろいろな意見もありますが、皆さん本当に普通の一般人で私には何をしている組織なのか特に興味も湧かないほどでした（笑） 謎！
